i haven't written in awhile. summer in fredericksburg is beautiful, uncomplicated, busy, hot, and friendly. i went on a long bike ride today and i'm getting better at hills (i think). a black dude in a fubu outfit (also on a bike) rode next to me for awhile and we made chit chat. inevitably he asked if i was looking for a boyfriend. i couldn't lie to him, so i said "i guess i am in general but not today." i didn't mean to hurt his feelings but i think i may have. he rode away sadly.
dan and i ran into a drunken english professor last night on a moonlit walk. i've made some new friends, and a new shirt. i've written stories and poems, i've grown to love my housemates like brothers.
there are mice in my big brown house and thunder is rolling across the street over the baseball field.
i need some new music. please make me a cd or tape. i miss charley, natalie, alexa, and my family.
i'm going to the beach tomorrow.
i have a crush on a boy who looks either swiss or german. it's strange.
today we had booze a palooza it involved walking down to the kenmore tennis courts with beers, a rolling cooler and a stereo strapped to it. it was fun as hell. tennis is sweet drunk. then we went to chipotle!
