Seriously, I need suggestions. I've lost most/all my connections for currency, and I actually have enough gil to purchase about 1000-2000 currency now(provided it's the fair market price, not this 40-100k bullshit going on) . I found it funny that two members of IRON are actively trying to buy currency for their weapons, I thought that members

The policy I remember is that all members were required to give their currency to Jawas or, god, who's that warrior that begins with a K, and I would not give my currency because I felt that the currency that was auto-lotted to me was my reward for participating in the event. After Tredvolt found out that I was keeping the currency, I explained to him my reasoning, and it was agreed that the currency was the only thing that I would be receiving from my time in IRON. I think the time you are referring to was during the exploratory phases of Dynamis. I sort of remember what you are talking about in purchasing currency, but as you said, I believe this was before the give everything to one person phase. The comments at the time were not from Tredvolt, they were from IRON members who were berating me for not turning my currency to an officer. And lest we forget that the IRON leadership at the time were mainly composed with Tred's real life friends.

I'm sure we can argue all day and night about this, but this was over a year ago, and I will admit my memory is shoddy from the specific timing of everything. However, one thing I do know is that IRON has never cared for the attitudes and opinions of anyone but its members(in the end). I honestly don't feel I have this universal effect on peoples' opinions about IRON. If people want to believe me, I can't stop them, people have come out with stories about me (emo trio). I know you are trying to stick up for IRON because you are a friend and you are also a member of the shell, but we have had two different experiences and interpretations with the machine that is that linkshell. If you want to write in your LJ about how wonderful IRON is though, I will keep my comments restricted to my LJ. If anything, that's another thing I had to learn how to do from being in IRON.

that policy was for currency that dropped during IRON dynamis runs. People that came up with currency outside of our runs could give them to jawas or katuru and reimbursed what we were offering for currency.
