You do not think so?

I've been told that it is the truth, so I suppose I should believe it is.

Do not believe it because others do. Only what you believe matters. I believe it is true, but that makes it true to me, not to you.

Only what I believe matters? Seriously Hiro, that is a flawed argument. People wouldn't be so upset over me hunting down a few specials if that was true.

It matters to you, neh? Just as I feel I have a right to be a hero because it matters to me. It may be a bit simple, but certainly when it comes to opinions it is quite true. Especially when it comes to opinions about yourself

Yeah, of course it matters to me. It's less of an opinion I have about my right and more of a compulsion, though. I'm sure that goes for you too. You -have- to be an annoying little know-it-all or as you call it, a hero.

A "know-it-all"?

Someone who knows what's best for everyone.

I do not know what is good for everyone, but killing people is bad.

Killing people isn't bad, Hiro. That's nonsense. Did you look at the news lately? You're allowed to kill all the time, provided you're doing it for the country, for religion, to protect yourself or because it's not convenient with a kid right now. You kill everything from microorganisms to animals in a day, step on ants, eat chickens and pigs.

How can there be any other conclusion than us being -made- to kill? We have to. It's our nature, it's evolution.

I am aware that it is our nature to kill, but is it not better for us to rise above our nature and become better people?

Who is to say that it is better? It is only an artificial judgement designed to take us even further away from our true nature. You kill when you have to, don't you?

Only if there is absolutely nothing else I can do. I will not say that I cannot kill - you know better - but I do not do it lightly.
