We have all been witness to the adage,
"One man's trash is another man's treasure."
This tomfoolery I proclaim to high esteem,
I have layed out before you,
You perceive as dusty and archaic.
But when I look upon it,
This much anticipated and
Not at all expected treasure,
ping
I see wealth and rarity.

I see stark contrast of white on black.

I see a primitive art form.
So captivating when turned on,
But turn it off and you will not see,
That which gives me joy.
For 'tis one dot.
Oh dot, you are so simple.
Only I can see your complexity.
Flying back and forth on a screen,
That is attached to my Atari.
