New Job
Today is my last day at my current employer. I am moving onto another company that has more career potential. I have been a traveling consultant for the past 12 yrs and am honestly done with it. New position is "Manager of Professional Services." So yes, I will have to travel some to meet clients, gather requirements etc, but will no longer be the man on the ground doing the implementation, configuration, and customization work. I have no ill will towards my current employer, but it was quite obvious that I would be stuck as a Sr. Consultant for the foreseeable future. (at least another 3 - 5 yrs)
This is still a "work at home" position where they pay for the office phone line, internet, etc. Substantial base salary increase + substantial quarterly bonus when all team/company goals are met.
Will have more details later, but it is a GREAT move for me and my future career.
