Working girl

Well, not much has changed in the world of Sara in Armenia since Sunday. Pifer and I got to visit with Libaridian on Sunday night which was a lot of fun. It's always nice to see familiar faces over here! It's also always interesting to hear what he has to say.
Afterwards we checked on the schedule for the jazz festival because none other than Earth Wind & Fire (ok, their kids...) were part of it. We didn't end up going since the only tickets left were extremely expensive. Then we went to a cafe we all like called Jazzve by the opera for some dessert. They pile ice cream and chocolate sauce on a waffle - it's pretty darn good.
Monday I had my first full day of work. They finally have some projects for me to work on so I got to sit at my desk at my computer and motor along on AutoCAD. This museum that they're working on is incredibly complicated, so it takes me some time to figure everything out with each step.
After work a few of us from Birthright went to a restaurant near the main square called Yergir, which an Armenian restaurant with a live band. Another Birthrighter, Karine, was leaving so she picked this as her place for her goodbye dinner! So, we ate great food and were able to get up and dance and have a good time. It turned into a crazy affair.
When I finally got one of my roommates to walk home with me around 12, I got home and got to talk to Joanna! Yay! It was nice to talk to her after a month of being away from home. I also talked to Morgan (after a few attempts - 10 hours of time difference makes finding a good time to call kind of tricky!) for our anniversary. :)
The rest of the week should be pretty normal - work, Armenian lessons, etc. Hopefully we will see Libaridian again before he leaves. We also need to come up with some adventures for the weekend - other than sleeping in we should be using our days off to see the sights of Armenia!
I hope you're all doing well! It's been nice to hear all the news from home - so thanks! Miss you!!! - love, sara :)
