CPI Tourney is over
Damn do i miss bowling tournaments . I miss meeting the people......meeting new faces.......the high fives.......etc etc .i have been blessed being on some teams in Tucson , Austin and now in Chicago with some lifelong friends .This weekend tournament pumped me to that level , and whether I bowled well or shitty I had an awesome time .
Fridays No-Tap tourney started off the weekend.........my 866 total gave me third place in it.........I was pleased for sure . My singles sucked..........my doubles were worse :(............of course these are my opinions.....I must have gotten every possible split there was in the book . I ended both1 pin over par.......which really had me kinda bummed .Oh well its all about havin fun i kept tellin myself .
Today was team event and i was bowling with 3 of the other 4 guys from my tuesday night league .Man i started the first game with a wonderful 7 - 9 pin split /open UGH...........I am like here i go again . Second Frame..........8 -10 pin split/open ...... boo hoo ........ :(...a couple spares another open..........and I have an 84 in the 6th....and its opened of course ............I took off one of my two shamrock beaded necklaces.....and went to bowl.........woo-hoo...........finnaly i started exploding and closed out that game with a 193.......somehow...........and I continued that on thru the next two games...........and ended up with a 742 series.........the Bear was finally happy .Woofs........we all bowled well as a team also........2803.......though we werent sure if we would even place..........well they announced the 5th place team at 2660 something and our eyes lit up we were in the money :) to end long stories short.........
FIRST PLACE
it was awesome that we kicked ass :) There was a dispute with one of the bowlers and some kind of protest had been lodged.....so singles-doubles-team cash winnings werent handed out yet........but I am sure looking forward to that sweet check arriving in the mail.............so even though I didnt play fucking mystery score........and my first game score got called and i missed out on 300 DOLLARS...........I am fine with that now ..........LOL............hugs to all chat soon............and yes free cocktails for two hours at SideTracks..........this Bear is feeling wonderful :)
