Last day
Today is my last day at work. I have been unhappy with my job for a while. I told my colleague that I want to leave and he felt the same way. In the end he was the first to hand in his notice about two months ago. After he was gone it was pretty clear it's time for me too. I quit about four weeks ago and today is my last day. I am a bit scared but also very excited. After three years, it's time to move on!
I started seeing people but so far I haven't found anything new. Which is ok because Freelance is a great option for a while. I pitched for a small design job two weeks ago. The people were nice and it's a good project. I didn't think I would have any chance against all the other people they saw but this week I got a call that I won!! That's really cool and I am really looking forward to it. Kick-off meeting on Monday. No time to rest really.
