Jimmy Johns vs. Dave Barry

After eating in Jimmy Johns this afternoon, I looked at one of the signs up on the wall. It was listed as the 16 things I've learned in 50 years by Dave Barry. However, after searching the internet for it, I've found that that list was different from the actual list that Dave published back in 1998. There is an incredible amount of truth in this entire list. I think this is amazing. I am also willing to volunteer to destroy the Sitcom computer with hammers.

I'll put you on the top of the list...and I personally believe that I have been the crazy person in #23 far too many times...and yet, I keep doing it.

Oh how #11 seems so appropriate right now. On the other hand, according to Slothgar Rule #1, you can never obsesses too much. The corollary though, of course is, you can never care too little.

Ahem...not #1.
1: Circle the wagons, deny everything. Henceforth "Circle, Deny."
2: You cannot stop frosting the cake.
3: Lethargy, the great equalizer.
4a: You can never care too little.
4b: You can never obsess too much.
5: Just because you don't like him/her, it does not mean you can't head back to the party after taking her home, claiming your own "illness." Henceforth "A Slothgar."
6: If you wait until the last minute, "it" will only take a minute.
7: "It" will randomly work "itself" out.

Thanks for the update on the Rules. Although we should not forget the other rule "don't let the facts get in the way of a good story."
