Forgot about HK Disneyland!

I can't believe I forgot to post about Hong Kong Disneyland! The lovely lasses from the isles, Karen and Shan, joined me in a day of age-regression therapy at Hong Kong's newest themepark. Shan had never been to any Disney park, making our excursion an even more special occasion.

We rode Space Mountain first...then rode it again...then got fast passes to ride it again...we rode it four times that day! We did a jungle cruise, and while we didn't understand half of the jokes for the thick accent, it made them that much funnier! We rode several other rides that day--Astro Blasters, Orbitron, Winnie the Pooh, train, etc.--and did a lot of shopping. Saw the parade, too. My obnoxiousness levels shot through the roof...I had such a great time. It was one of the highlights of Hong Kong for me.

I've heard some complaints about the park being too small, but I thought it was big enough for a start. They're already building new attractions, and they have a well established park to compete with, so I assume great things are to come.

First off, they have their own metro line equipped with their own themed trains:

Awesome! Karen and Shan in the Mickey-shaped window:

Of course, having their own metro means they have their own metro station:

Here's the entrance gate and main street station:
