collection update: august 25th, 2015

WELL! It's been a while!

I actually went back and cleaned up my journal from way back in 2013, so I thought I'd start things off with a quick little update on how my collection is going!

Oh, yeah, wow, I could tell you SO MUCH STUFF about the move, like...okay, so after the Santa Clara campus fell through, they essentially confirmed the new building to be in FREMONT, of all places -- which worked fine for me, since I plan on moving to Hayward next year -- but there was currently another school staying in the building, so they told all the students "look, don't go to the building and harass the students there, their corporate office hasn't told them we're moving in yet so just don't mess this up". Guess what! We messed it up. Cogswell kids would go to the campus and joke about having "gang wars" and that we were new rivals and going on campus tours...to the point where the other school had to send us an email like "look, if you don't stop, you can't have this building, sorry".

And, well, since we never did end up getting that building...I can only guess what happened. WHAT A GREAT GROUP OF COLLEGE KIDS WE ARE. Blech.

I'm afraid I don't know a Max by name, but it's very likely we've bumped into each other and I simply don't remember! I only really personally know the people in my year or maybe a year or two below, so that could be it too. We have the same major though!

And oh! I was interested in the Dedenne half of the w/Berries hand towels (I just now bought the other one from someone else, as well as the Dedenne version of the glass to go with the one I bought from you!) and the Pikachu card case because it is adorable as heck.

Oh wow, Max didn't tell us about the Fremont part... then again I was the only one interested.. most of the time the guys are talking about pc games which I don't know much about. You can say I am the odd girl out;; I guess I could ask him about that next time I see him with the other guys!

Ahh.. maybe! It is a small school so there's a big possibility. I believe he has night classes this fall. I'm not sure what year he is in but that he transferred and has been there for at least a couple of years... but I don't think he's graduating soon. Maybe one day we can all meet up and chill. xD

I'll let you know when I add new stuff! It will good to get feedback for the community. ^^

The Fremont business happened at the tail end of last semester, and I'm actually not sure how many people know the full story, because I know I only even knew where the supposed campus was because one of my teachers told us, haha.

Yeah, that's what I would think too haha. We're definitely very small! You're more than welcome to come and chill sometime man, we like guests; the new campus is literally only like half a walk away from the Baypointe light rail stop, so it's pretty easy to get to as well!

wow that is close to my work and really close to my bf's as well. I'm off River Oaks and Montague in the Rivermark Plaza. We should tell Max when we see him or idk if he already knows, lol.

I'll let you know when I have make add stuff. Will probably be making the post on the community soon+ I do food pickups. xD Love the Japanese markets here. <3

Ooooh, I think I've delivered near there before! Or at least been around that area haha. That sure is convenient for you guys!

Nice nice, I'll keep an eye out. If you ever want some company or need a lift to get pickups anywhere that you can't get to with public transit, I have a car so I'd be happy to help!

Yeah it's a nice area with those apartments and stores surrounding the community. I work at the library there. :D

I have my bf for a ride/carpool most days XD but that's cool we can go to the markets and be sooo broke afterwards. Marukai is my favorite, has an amazing selection of snacks and also cheap prices!! plush the sushi boxes are good too and the closest to where I live so it's great~ I am amazed they have so many Pokemon snacks!! Nijiya is also cool cuz they have choco wafers with stickers inside plus I bought a bunch of snacks from their Hokkaido food fair. Mitsuwa is nice too but I think a little overrated. It's just nice with Kinokuniya and all the restaurants inside plus when they have special food events but parking is a big pain!!

But yeah that will be cool and really helpful! I'm free sometimes on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

YEAH in that case I'm almost CERTAIN i've been there! Occasionally I work delivery to places in San Jose and those big apartment complexes/communities so yeah! I actually haven't been to a lot of the individual stores; there's a Kinokuniya and a Mitsuwa in Saratoga that I've been to before but I haven't had the chance to go to many others! I'd love to tag along sometime as long as that's cool with you.

I'm going to be in class from Tuesday - Thursday starting the 8th, and I'll have work the other days; but until then I'm free Tuesday and Wednesday mornings/afternoons!

Ahh yes you should go to Marukai!! Lots of good food there in the plaza like Gyu Kaku, Harumi Sushi, Super Cue, Beard Papa's, etc.
