Is Dr. James still singing/writing music? Being as how I'm currently elbowing my way into a learning-game company, it's not necessarily a rhetorical question.

I don't believe he is writing at present, and I don't know what his singing voice is like these days. I think he did a concert recently at a filk (in San Jose?) con. But when I last spoke, there were no albums currently in production.

Dr. Jim will be a guest at LosCon in November and will be singing. His voice is now a baritone and rather rusty, but he is practicing and getting better all the time. He shared with me the bio he wrote for LosCon, in which he says that while "Dr. Jane" was really good at writing lyrics, she could not remember them and hated listening to her CD's. Dr. Jim cannot write so far, but remembers lyrics just fine and *loves* listening to "Dr. Jane's" CD's. Gofigure...
