For anyone who has known me a while (specifically knew me when I was married), this meme will not come as a shock.
In other news, our old house had its first showing today. dog_father and I spent about 3 hours over there this morning, doing last minute cleaning and improving on the staging of the sun room, which had only one chair in it and looked rather unfinished. The addition of a wicker table and several plants made it much more homey. We left about 12:30 (the Open House was scheduled for 1 - 4 PM) and people were already starting to show up. We came home and did unpacking and yard things to keep busy (I borrowed the electric lawn mower from next door and promptly ran it over the power cord -- definitely a learning experience!). Now we are waiting to hear from our realtor about how it went. Another Open House will happen next Sunday and then we'll see if offers appear. Lucrative offers.
