Tao wasn't entirely sure what he was doing here.
Not necessarily the train station, but...here. In Korea. He barely spoke the language--he didn't necessarily know why he decided to leave his hometown besides having to get away.
"...Are you lost?" A soft voice piped up behind him.
Tao looked up to see a bundled up young man smiling politely at him. He started to shake his head, but changed his mind and nodded.
A few moments passed, but neither of them started to say anything. The stranger blankly blinked at the silence.
Tao bit on his lower lip, trying to figure out a way to communicate with his friendly samaritan. He suddenly wished he still had his dictionary on him, but when looking through his bag he had only found his snacks.
He probably lost it along the way somehow.
"Ah...do you speak Korean?"
".....Not too many." Tao slowly responded in Korean with a thick accent.
The young man smiled, trying to hold back his laughter at Tao's choice of words, but nodded understandingly.
"Where are you going?"
"Seoul."
He slowly nodded and waited for Tao to continue, looking to the side. "...Anywhere in particular?"
Tao shook his head.
The other man stared at him for a moment, trying to figure out what a Chinese man would be aimlessly doing in Korea.
But there didn't necessarily have to be a reason.
"Um, that's okay. Oh, right, I'm Baekhyun by the way." Baekhyun scratched the back of his head at the turn of events.
"Baixian."
Baekhyun slowly nodded again, smiling nervously.
"...Close enough. Um, well let's get you to Seoul then."
