I am back from an amazing experience.
I competed in "International LeatherSir/Leatherboy" this weekend past. It was simply an unreal and wonderful experience.
It wasn't all smiles, it wasn't easy. But I am so glad that I had the balls to do it.
I have a lot more respect for people who are International level titleholders now. Its a lot of work.
First, congratulations to Raul Mendez, who is now International LeatherSir 2008 and to Bill Hoeppner the new International Leatherboy 2008. My hats off to Black-Jack Pierce who is now the International Community Bootblack 2008. Also, I can't forget to mention
gallichomme Oliver Pratt, International LeatherSir 2007 and boy Sparky, International Leatherboy 2007. They did an great job and have certainly earned my respect.
I will write much more about this later this week. The only thing I have to say right now is that I am proud of Boy Steve, Gulf Coast Leatherboy 2008, myself and Fred Anderson, Gulf Coast Community Bootblack 2008. We were a good team and we managed to have fun and be ourselves.
I am very proud of boy steve and wish him and his family the best.
We worked hard and were a significant presence at ILSb this year. I am glad we did this together.
I will post more about this later in the week.
I have tons of people to thank, I will name them in a later post, because right now I need to get some sleep.
