WOW I AM SO INCREDIBLY SICK OF BEING IN PAIN. ...Oops. That's me complaining again, isn't it? Moving on, then.
So today I pick up this manga, right? It's a series in Shounen Jump. Of course I do. The catch is, the art is done by none other than Takeshi Obata. You know what I'm talking about yet? Already published in the US. It's called RalΩGrad. I have to admit, my reason for hesitating on actually picking this up was a pretty shallow one: I absolutely hate anything by Obata because it reminds me of Death Note. Yeah, I know. But! I looked past it in the end! I picked it up and read it. And I'm glad I did. *o*
I know a lot of people are dumb and don't like sharing stuff they're into because they don't want their fandoms to 'grow' or their series to get 'popular' or whatever, but I say SCREW THAT. No I'm serious, I know people like that. I think this series is worth a look at, so I scanned a few pages. Give it a glance the next time you go to your bookstore! :O

And then some 'monsters'. I'm a sucker for 'em.
Of course, there's plenty of action too, but that doesn't really need to be said. It's SHOUNEN! >O And I'll admit, Obata does a pretty good job at it. orz
The Summary on the back is: During a bloody war, a child is born at the cost of his mother's life. From this baby comes forth a huge and powerful dragon born of shadow that lays waste to the landscape. A quick-thinking knight locks the baby in a cage of darkness, where he grows to be a young man, knowing only the kindness of his female tutor. Until the day of the Shadows atack...

The weird thing is, I'd written an original story painfully similar to this before... (Yay me? idk nothing's original anymore) Which might make me a little biased, but. I'm a sucker for anything shounen, anyway. :|
I ALSO HAD SOMETHING ELSE TO SAY but I completely forgot what it was, so oh well. Lost Odyssey should be out now! ...Right? God, something else to play.
