What I did last night...
*sobs* I watched Bambi last night and I think it is the saddest Disney movie ever made...it's even sadder than The Lion King. I mean, in Bambi when Bambi's mother dies it's all left to the imagination which I think is even more terrible than in The Lion King where Simba nuzzles his father's lifeless body. Poor Bambi...it's such a bittersweet little film. In Lion King at least Simba's father comes back as a spirit and has a theme reminiscent of Christianity, you know?
Does anyone else here agree with me? Which is sadder, Bambi or Lion King?
