With Dave's help I nearly finished planting my city garden, in that all of the seeds rows are planted.
So far the following have either germinated or will soon:
* Soybeans
* Summer squash
* Carrots
* Flour corn
* Kohlrabi
* Purple cauliflower
* Swiss chard
* Marigolds (not edible but they repel insects)
* Zinnias (decoration)
Also put in some small tomato plants that were given to me.
Still having some space left I picked up some celery plants at a local nursery, which I plan to put in tonight. It's amazing how many crops can be fit into a 20'x20' plot.
Not much else to report. Things are very quiet.
