pictures, NC trip
So, as per several requests, I posted some pictures (all WS) from our recent trip to Charlotte, NC.
A few I particularly liked:
Our host enjoys a cigar while giving the photographer the evil eye.
His partner, Scott, who kind of reminds me of both pagerbear and paganbear. The first because of the NC accent and his career in chruch music, the second because of the red beard and the wicked sense of humour.
We thought we were in NC, but may have been in Colorado? (The district we were in is called South Park).
In the mountains near Boone, NC. The blue haze is from a chemical secreted by the rhododendron shrubs, which grew everywhere in the mountains.
Downtown Charlotte (the only shot I snapped that took). Kind of reminded me of Atlanta:
Woods. The leaves are near-fully out already, and it was like early summer.
