-The Saints lost 38-31 to the Pittsburgh Steelers, falling to 6-3. Fumbles hurt the Saints(especially Reggie Bush's late in the third, allowing the Steelers to tie the game at 24, and Terrence Copper's with 40 seconds left near the Pittsburgh 20 when the Saints were driving to possibly send the game to overtime), who rallied from down 14-0 to take a 24-17 halftime lead. But the defense allowed Willie Parker to run for 213 yards and 2 TDs(76-yard runs on consecutive series gave the Steelers a 38-24 lead; if the defense stuffed Parker at the line of scrimmage, Parker only has 61 yards, so Parker was the difference in the game).

Reggie Bush got his first rushing TD, 15 yards on a double-reverse to give the Saints a 17-14 lead late in the 1st half, he ended up with 49 yards rushing on 10 carries and 7 catches for 40 yards. Drew Brees threw for 398 yards and a TD; Marques Colston caught 10 passes for 169 yards[continuing to solidify Rookie of the Year; also broke Danny Abramowicz's Saints rookie record for receiving yards in a season(old record was 721; Colston now has 869); also Bush and Colston became the first rookie teammates in NFL history to each catch 50 passes in a season; and Deuce McAllister had 60 yards on 15 carries and 2 TDs.

The Saints need to establish their running game a little more(they were outrushed 217-124), especially with a tough stretch of games coming up.

Tough loss, but at least we're still a game up on Atlanta(really two games with the win over the Falcons on Sept. 25), who lost to Cleveland 17-13.

Next week, the Cincinnati Bengals come to the Dome 4-5 after losing to the San Diego Chargers(Drew Brees' former team) 49-41, their third straight loss(after leading 21-0 at the end of the first and 28-7 at halftime).
