Veronica Mars Episode 3-01 "Welcome Wagon" Recap/Review
The return of the most electricifying show on television today:
Veronica solves the intro to Criminology case in 6 minutes, bettering the previous record by ten minutes(previously held by the Lucky lookalike).
Sad to see the LeBaron go, but I understand why Keith got Veronica a new car(a make-up present for standing her up for three days in NYC).
The main case was Piz getting his stuff stolen out of his car, and Wallace recommending Veronica to help him, which she did.
Kendall's Dead?! Shot by the guy Keith brought out to her. Of course, Keith found out too late that Vinnie was working for the other side.
So, Dick is being, well, a total dick to everyone, for lack of better words and phrases. As Veronica said, it's like she never left Neptune High. But what a jerk-douchebag he was towards Mac. I mean, she's hurting just as bad as he is regarding Cassidy's death. Then later on, Logan makes the save with Veronica's tazer when Dick's getting his ass kicked[for the second time in the episode, as he interrupted an "Night Out Against Violence" assembly headed mainly by girls that were attacked and raped by the serial rapist(though, it would have cool if we saw Stacy from "Rapes of Graff" in the group or speaking in front of the group)].
And now Veronica's got a reason to go after the serial rapist, as Parker became the most recent victim of the rapist(while Veronica and Mac were asleep nonetheless, or was it before they got back from the movie?).
Liked Parker, Piz is meh, LoVe is in the air, and it's great to see the whole gang(except for Weevil, anyway, as he's still in jail apparently).
Episode grade: 9.5/10
