Danica finishes 19th, remains 5th in points
Danica Patrick finished 19th, 2 laps down, today at the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, won by Scott Dixon(his 20th career in Indycar, breaking his tie with Sam Hornish Jr. for most all-time in the IRL Indycar Series).
Danica was spun out after contact by Mike Conway and got stuck in the gravel trap midway through the race.
Danica was pretty much eliminated from points title contention with 4 races left in the season although she remains 5th in the standings, now 139 behind Dixon. Dixon with the win, retook the points lead from Ryan Briscoe, who finished 2nd, by 3 points with Dario Franchitti 20 points back in 3rd after finishing 3rd.
Next race is August 23rd at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California.
