Rundown: New DVD's, new manga, some politics

-In the last few days, I bought Grandma's Boy, There's Something About Mary, and Idiocracy on DVD at various places(Grandma's Boy at Wal-Mart using the Circuit City ad to get it for $6.99 Tuesday, and the other two at Circuit City today).

-I also bought the first volume of Rosario + Vampire manga at Books-A-Million. It's great. It reminds me a little of Tenchi Muyo so far. It's about a human boy named Tsukune Aono, who goes to a school for monsters called Yokai Academy(where monsters learn to coexist peacefully with humans and they must maintain their human disguises), and he befriends a vampire girl named Moka Akashiya(who has to wear a special Rosary to keep her vampire powers locked, which she can't remove but Tsukune can and does when he gets into trouble), and later a succubus named Kurumu Korono(yes, she does try to seduce Tsukune, as she considers Moka a rival as she planned to have all the boys in the school fall for her but they fell for Moka instead, but he saves her from Moka's other self).

Here's what the cover looks like(I know it's Japanese, but the U.S. cover's the same):

-So it's down to Obama vs. McCain, eh......I said to myself when the primaries first started, as long as it wasn't Hillary Clinton, Mitt Romney, or Sam Brownback(all three are anti-First Amendment, I could care less who won.

But I agree with Jesse Ventura that there should be a "None of the above" choice.

dvd, rosario + vampire, game politics, movies, manga
