I found out from my brother, nightflame1993 about 5:30pm, and I had to do a double take. The last thing I heard about Benoit was that he had to fly back to Atlanta for a family emergency and missed Vengeance last night, but he's now dead?
This was just shocking. It wasn't just Benoit, but his wife and youngest son(7 years old) died as well.
This is more shocking than finding out about Eddie Guerrero's death, or about Owen Hart's death, or about Dale Earnhardt Sr.'s fatal crash at Daytona(I found out after the fact as I didn't see the end of the race).
I don't what else to say. Rest in Peace, Chris Benoit. I can only imagine the legendary matches that he'll have up there with Eddie, Owen, and everyone else.
ETA: According to megalolz(who we found out about Benoit's death from), they've ruled the Benoit family's deaths as a double murder-suicide. Whoa.........this is even more shocking. Shades of Phil Hartman.

According to a report on WAGA-TV, investigators believe Chris Benoit killed his wife and son at some point over the weekend, and then killed himself earlier today.
They reported first hearing from a concerned neighbor and that the three bodies were found in separate rooms.
Detective Bo Turner told the staion the case was being investigated as a murder-suicide, but it could not be confirmed until the evidence was examined by a crime lab.
This is just getting freakier and freakier.
