the geekisms!
so i was bored at work and stuffing round on google image search looking at pictures of animals
clicking link after link it eventually ended up on pictures of horses
from there i found a picture of one of my favourite Magic the Gathering cards - Nightmare (basically a badass looking black horse with a flaming mane and stuff)
that made me curious to try and find some other cool looking cards i remembered
the one i'm using for my profile pic is Eron the Relentless - a card i mainly liked for the awesomeness of the story behind the character
basically he's a thief, and one particular day he sneaks into Castle Sengir (where the badass vampire Baron Sengir lives) and steals a spellbook from the library
he ends up trying to figure out how to cast the spells, and the one he does manage to do gives him regeneration (think Wolverine but even more epic)
i can't remember exactly how (it has been a few years after all) but at one point he gets captured by goblins and imprisoned, only he keeps chopping himself into bits to fit through the bars of his cell
he ends up pretty much becoming the king of the goblins (naturally after they try and kill him many a time without success)
also, i still say Nightmare is awesome - a horse with a flaming mane would be epic
