Thankfully the repair to the furnace was cheap, at $81.
My car, on the other hand, is at the dealership to have the heater fan replaced, which consists of a switch, a relay, and a motor that need to be replaced ($1,050.) They also informed me that they needed to replace the front brake pads and the brake rotors ($500.)
Ouch.
Still, I'd rather pay for the occasional repair than have to make payments on a new car, or purchase a used car that wouldn't be under warranty (with a questionable history, too boot.)
