bladerunner blues

s'pose it's about time I updated this thing. It's great being back in school. Nice to see all my buddies again. I don't know why some people don't like it. I mean, even the schoolwork part isn't all that terrible as long as I get it done. Oh well, not my problem, really.
Lot's has happened in one week. Enough to make me think a bunch, but usually it really doesn't take much. I'm excited about my artistic abilities. They've been develpoing nicely and surprisingly fast now that I'm dedicated to them. Don't get me wrong, I still need to work even harder to be like my heroes, but I think I've given it a good start. Can't wait to go on my adventures ^_^.
I've also developed a strong interest in music again. Not just listening (listening is a given) but playing as well. I want to get back on track with my piano lessons. To top that off I'm gonna learn myself the harmonica! booyah! thats right. I'm listening to harmonica music right now, actually. "digging my potato" is what the tune is called, and "damn, that blues harp is sweet". I wouldn't call myself a baby hipster or anything, but pretty soon I'll be jammin' to the blues. And, yes, "sympathy for the devil" and Jet are very inspirational for me. If you people reading this didn't get all that try watching an episode of cowboy bebop and see for yourself. Spike's my hero! <3 (are guys allowed to say that?)

I got myself another manga today. I'ts called Naruto and its pretty sweet. I can thank kate for letting me borrow her Shonen Jump! book thingey and introducing Naruto to me. It's interesting to read about manga characters. So far I've noticed that they all start out larger than life; invincible and impervious to any dangers. Of course they get hurt but they always come out on top in the end. Its almost the complete opposite of the webcomic "It's Walky!". I've been reading that lately, too. The characters in that story are always duking it out with their own morals and mortality. Two ends of the spectrum. All this story reading has made me crave adventure even more. Sure, real life is probably nothing like the stories, but I can dream can't I? I want to start out larger than life. I'll be the hero.

alright, enough rambling for one night. I'm outta here!
