Kristina's brilliant idea

I was talking with Kristina the other night and she had the brilliant idea that we should make all of our politicians sit the equivalent of a doctoral defense with intelligent, perceptive people who wouldn't let them weasel out of answering questions and wouldn't let them go until their positions were explained clearly, consistently and thoroughly. It could be televised. I thought it was a brilliant idea, and we threw around names of people we'd like to see grilling our politicians. I was particularly enamored of Prof. Chen, especially if nobody was telling her to be nice to them. "You waste your constituents money!" "You no good at politics!" I'd pay to see that. I also picked Ozzy Osbourne because if you could explain things so HE could understand, clearly, you could communicate well.
