Ok, firstly, thanks to all those who made Niki's visit home extremely fun and enjoyable, and thanks to those he didn't see for dropping a line anyway. The man was very happy pretty much all week (after getting over exhaustion on Friday night), and was very sad to leave, which will probably make him even happier to come back. Kit, Kat, Jen, Kris, Allan, Jude, Leah, Juliet, Colin, David, Sarah, Laura, Dhebora, Mum, Dad, Cerys, Jude, Rachael, Jarvis, Nena, Jonathon, Francesca, Jerry, Tommy, Holly, and numerous other people who he's too rude and forgetful to mention - thanks guys, you made it special, and we both really enjoyed seeing you. Robb, Andy, Martin, Shanks... Absence makes the heart grow fonder, so he's gonna be pretty fucking fond of seeing you guys when you get back from Amerikkka. Have a good one.
And so, with a boyish new hairdo for him, and a summer trim for myself, Niki and I set off to big bad Greece for the final 3-week stretch of exams, monks, and more exams. Which isn't actually that much. Especially when he also has to fit in saying goodbye to a buncha folks, which probably means heavy intaking of alcohol.
I'll drink to that.
