Spectre photos

May 13, 2009 00:31

These are photos that someone from Spectre took of me to go with the album I recorded on. I don't know what these are actually for but they sent me copies and I didn't want to lose them anywhere.

I didn't give them permission to airbrush anything. Grumble grumble. But that's the industry I suppose. It's not as though they haven't done the same to me! I really do like the photos though, and for my part, I think you were a fantastic model for them. You were an excellent choice in all respects, Astrid, and it was a pleasure to work with you. I think the last one is probably what will end up in the album art; it captures the character best, while the first one may well be used as a cast photo.

One thing that's undeniable, though: you look beautiful in all of them.

Uh, Spectre, it's done as standard. Not guilty though!

And Astrid you're beautiful, and unbelieveably photogenic :)

Thank you, Joanna. You were very nice to be a model for.

I know, but you know me and my soapbox! We're inseparable, as any good shower buddies are.

As far as I know (I didn't do it) Astrid's photos were hardly touched, unlike a certain guitarist... :P

Well, you know how it is. It's always on the very worst possible days that the truly unfortunate pimples show up...

We should just be glad they didn't multiply.

That is a really disgusting mental image...

My imagination is occasionally a disturbing beast.

I don't like famous industries. It seems like what people look like is more important than their talents and that makes me sad.

I can't say I disagree with you, though at the same time, I think there are certain sectors where that's changing. The Metal scene is a lot more open-minded than some, though I'd never even pretend that we're not prone to it as well. Still, needs must as the devil drives. And besides, it's a pleasure to work with the talented photographers like Joanna!
