The manic fingers have been pushing the buttons piloting my old Draenei Hunter and as well a new Draenei Shaman in WoW. Despite all the
new and exciting things given Hunters in game, I only had daily quests to do - people were so absorbed with leveling their twinks with Inscription, or going off doing something solo for this-or-that achievement that I got bored.
I bought the extra 2 stable slots for Hunter pets. I think over 200 gold to go from 3 to 5. Ouchy.
I also used the barber, necessitating that my character no longer use his helm graphic because it hides the "do." 72 gold! Some of the styles apparently aren't in the character creation screen so are super spendy.
Lastly came traveling all over outland and even Azeroth for the new exotic pets. THESE ARE A PAIN TO TAME. Even a L54 Elite
Devilsaur can fear kite a L70 Hunter. It's just not fair. When the freeze trap doesn't spring fast enough or breaks too early or some butthead strikes the mob for you... Sigh, the Devilsaur was the #2 pain in the arse right after
Uvuros.
Uvuros was a huge fear kiter plus huge damage dealer. Deadly combo, especially since the ice trap doesn't affect him - L70 elite, never lasted 2 seconds. Having a pally there didn't really help much either, since the mana to tame drained out of me after 2 kitings and I was near death after. TOO TOO many others trying for Uvuros also. MUCH MUCH easier to settle for the slightly smaller and only 1 level lower
Spawn of Uvuros that wander nearby, don't fear-kite you, and have the same graphic, talent, and size when tamed.
Chimera was basically a freeze-tame cinch. Didn't really need a partner for him, but amusingly some other NE Hunter who was following me around and jumped in front of me had their trap freeze it but it was MY tame spell that hooked the mob. All they said was "..." to which I left a disrespectful silence in return. I felt that was a much better /rude than the actual gesture or LOL.
Kilrogg is my regular server; my best friends founded the guild I'm in - it's an Alliance guild (they didn't have my input!). They have a 6-tab bank, do weekly Kara runs (until recently), have also 10- and 25-man raids they do with a sister guild, run a Ventrilo server, have both Mac and PC clients (fair amount of Mac users), and the founders are friends I've known since before High School - meaning early 1970s.
