Perhaps my rantings about OS X weren't so paranoid:

The simple fact OS X is relatively free of malware is not a tribute to its strength, but rather an indication of how minuscule its user base is. Maybe if the Intel-inside Macs gain marketshare, and heaven forbid real PC owners start running Maxxuss' patched OS X more often, we'll start seeing security patches and updates rival the library currently presented to XP users immediately upon a first-time install.
I just felt I should thumb my nose and say "Nyah, nyah!" To the Apple elitists I've met in my journeys. Unfortunately, none of them read LJ.
