Roomie needed!
So after six months-ish of living here- I still love it here and do not believe we could find a nicer/cheaper place anywhere in a prettier town. .but one of my roommates is moving out. She just graduted from Uconn and is moving home because of . . .well. . its a long story-not terrible, but kind of ridiculous. Our land-lady says she has to sub-lease until June, once the lease is up. I've been asking everyone I know of that has a job that could reasonable support them with rent of $450 month plus utilities that lives in the Hartford / Tolland counties and no such luck. Most people I know are engaged/about to be engaged/ married/ or still living at home unable to find jobs. Eeeep! Ideally it would be sweet if the arrangements worked out and this person would like to re-sign for another year. That would be amazing! My boss suggested putting and ad in the paper/Craig's List and then interviewing people. I suppose we could do that, but I'd really rather it be someone we already know. . . eeep! Luckily we live wicked close to Uconn and Eastern, but this time of year most people already have housing arrangments with school starting back up next week!
I don't like it when things are up in the air. I have never taken well to change. Its exciting but makes my stomach all knotted up. Eric has been applying to jobs all over the U.S. because he really REALLY needs to move out of his parents house. I'm getting sooo antsy where I'm working now I'm pretty much willing to find a job in the field I REALLY want. If he gets a job before me I think I'll just keep applying to jobs in that area and we'll see what happens. However, he must live on his own for a year and I won't live with him unless we get married. I'm still not ready to get married at all! It gives me butterflies like crazy and really scares me but sounds exciting at the same time. I know I'm still not ready for it and will know when I am (most people think this is nuts after 6 1/2 years:) However, I love him a LOT and could not ask for a better boyfriend!:)
