Three quick recs (even though I stole two of them from mandysbitch and swmbo):

You don't know there's a trampoline in the room, you're not gonna dust the ceiling for prints - angelgazing
SVU, Elliot/Olivia, PG
He is promises broken like seashells, sharp enough to cut through the thick, fleshy parts of her, the places where it's all skin and muscle and nerves so it bleeds forever and hurts worse than anything before it. He doesn't see it, when he trips over pinned in confessions in the busy hall. She doesn't see it, when her face falls and her fists clench around nothing and she's his friend.

Confusing and complex and painful and every other good thing Elliot/Olivia should be, and with a case in there, too.

accident prone - quasiradiant
SVU, Casey/Olivia, PG
They'll call you bitch behind your back without lowering their voices, call you whore or fuckup, give you these long, long looks as they turn to leave your office. That's what drives you to run up and down every flight of stairs over and over and over again until you're dehydrated and you've bruised the bottoms of your feet, because if you stop, maybe you'll start thinking again. Maybe you'll realize that you don't know why you do this job.

Sympathetic Casey? Is not the impossibility I once believed. Casey comes across as complex and nuanced and yes, sympathetic in this story, because she's aware that she's not as good as Alex, but she so desperately wants to be.

The I Ching of It All - turned_earth
HP, Lavender, Hermione, others peripherally.
Her classmates couldn't be more correct: Lavender Brown is a daft cow with no common sense and naught a spare thought in her head. Lavender likes to think that such attributes are beneficial to her, as being flighty and imaginative give her a leg up in divination. Oh and boys. The secret to understanding boys is to empty one's skull of all practical thought and then toss in some Quidditch.

I never gave Lavender much thought -- I mean really, who does? -- but she has such depth and texture here, and the divination stuff is terribly interesting.
