omg i watched one episode of that on SciFi and was like, "MUST. NOT. GET. ADDICTED." Because honestly, one cheesy scifi show at a time is about all I can handle, and SGA takes the cake on that one.

But booooy BSG sure is shiny.

The trouble is that BSG isn't cheesy.

It's probably the best sci-fi show since Farscape...and in some ways, it's even better than Farscape. (You have no idea how it pains me to say that.)

I watched the whole thing tonight and I had very little idea what the hell was going on -- so in that way it's very reminiscent of Farscape. Hee.

(I only say it's better than FS in SOME ways b/c I always felt Season 4 was weak. But BSG lacks the humor that was always one of Farscape's greatest and most endearing strengths.)

Oh, I was mad b/c Sci-Fi, the Network of Whores, gave Farscape's prime 9pm timeslot to SG1, and was very bitter, and ranted quite a bit about how it was all SG1's fault...

...and then I started watching SG1 obsessively the following summer.

In my defense, the weekend Farscape got cancelled was a SUCKTASTIC weekend b/c my GRANDMOTHER DIED that weekend and I had to blame SOMEONE. ;)
