Haha, you're totally missing out then! You know, i've stopped adding new American shows to watch. I've got way too many on my plate already. Four total to be exact: Prison Break, Supernatural, Desperate Housewives, and Grey's Anatomy. I've basically been watching since the very first episode for each one except for Prison Break. I didn't think i would be into that show even though i saw a lot of promos for it. But dang, when i came across it, i got so freakin' hooked. I used to watch The O.C. until that ended. I was actually quite relieved that it did since it was just too much to handle. ;D Out of the current four, my favorites are Prison Break and Supernatural. I still like Desperate Housewives since there are a lot of really witty lines in that series but i feel like i'm only continuing since i've been doing so for such a long time now. Well, that's definitely the case with Grey's Anatomy.
Gilmore Girls eh? I never was into that show. The only WB show i was really into was Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I have all 7 seasons on dvd. :D Were you into that since it had vampires? Actually, i also liked Roswell too which only lasted 3 seasons on the WB. And then Supernatural came around a couple of years ago but by now, the WB is gone and we've got the CW now. As you can already tell, i like sci-fi related kind of stuff.
Hehe, you're not into American shows. That line made me think about how you weren't really into Team USA but into Team China when you were watching the Beijing Olympics. ;D
Oh yeah, you're into the Twilight series. I saw those posts over in FFF and not to mention your icon there. ;D I had thought about buying those books but i never got around to it. Or it was more like i'm so lazy to do so. I've got a butt-load of other books that i still have to read. D: I bet you're catching the movie when it comes out. ;D
Her Majesty's Dog is a US licensed manga by Mick Takeuchi. I happened to see an advertisement for it from Amazon.com or something and i decided to buy the first volume and i just got hooked. It's a supernatural type of manga but it also has this sort of forbidden love story in it. Hehe, i'm into forbidden love stories. They always make me feel tingly inside. ;D And i've actually never heard of Wallflower. What is it about? BTW, i don't really read manga too much nowadays either since my mind is so preoccupied with other stuff. Hehe. I blame it on the whole KAT-TUN fandom thing. The last time i was so into reading manga or manhwa in this case would be when i first discovered Goong. I was so freakin' hooked. I even bought the first volume when it became licensed in the US. I don't think i'll continue doing that and just get the scanlated stuff since i basically have read most of the scanlated version any way.
Anyway, thanks for commenting! Man, my so-called reply to you is more of an email though. Haha.
LOL, your reply is like an essay! But I enjoy reading it.
I don't know why but American TV isn't as appealing as it was before. I don't feel like following any series. Maybe I'll catch an episode of Heroes now and then but that's pretty much it. I used to watch Grey's Anatomy! I own the first and second season DVDs. I was really into Derek and Meredith's story at the beginning and then when the second season ended, I was just like, "Forget about it".
I haven't seen an episode of Prison Break or Supernatural. xD
No, I haven't watched Buffy. If I had control over the TV remote control, I would've watched it and became obsessed, lol. I didn't get to watch a lot of TV when I was younger. My parents had control of the TV during nighttime.
Have you watched Ghost Whisperer? My best friend watches that show and she said it's pretty interesting. I've only watched one episode, lol.
Haha, yeah, I was avidly supporting Team China for the Olympics. And honestly, I don't find Michael Phelps fascinating at all. I can understand why people are so into him, but I'm just apathetic. I don't know why, though. xD
Before I read Twilight, I never understood why it was such a big deal. Like, I'd see forum topics about the characters, especially Edward Cullen. Almost every post said something about him being hot and sexy, lol. So then this girl at a forum shared a link to the story. I think she and someone else uploaded the novel. I was hooked by the end of the third chapter. It's a quick read! I promise. =) And yeah, I am definitely going to watch the movie.
Ahhh, forbidden love stories. =) It reminds me of the Taiwanese drama Magic Ring. Have you watched it? The guy falls in love with his pregnant and widowed sister-in-law. I also think of Shinobi: Heart Under Blade. It's kind of like Romeo and Juliet except the girl ends up killing her lover. *sigh*
The Wallflower is about four guys who move into a mansion for FREE, granted that they fulfill one requirement: The landlady's niece is this "otaku" type of girl who adores anything horror. So in order to continue living at the mansion for free, the four guys have to turn this scary-looking girl into a lady. She has to live with the four of them, and she sees them as "creatures of the light". Haha, that's because she never turns on the light in her room. And she spends loads of time in her room watching horror movies. So when she meets the four gorgeous guys, she thinks they're too "bright" because she's not accustomed to seeing people. So yeah, basically the entire manga is about how the guys have to turn her into a lady or they're gonna get kicked out, and how the girl learns to make friends and become a lady. It's funny how every time the guys give her a makeover, she screws everything up and they're back to square one again. Oh, and she is constantly trying to kill one of them because every time she sees him, she gets a nosebleed (He's hot but way tooooo skinny!) and he's already kissed her (gasp). This is my favorite manga to date, lol.
I haven't read Goong before. The only Korean manhwas that I've read are Full House and Snow Drop. I didn't like the Goong drama either, lol.
Haha, KAT-TUN used to play a huge part in my life...now I have no clue what they're up to.

Hmmm, I wonder if my reply is as long as yours.
