So it's Friday the 3rd, which I'd like to point out is not the 13th. So why, then, does my tire decide to self-destruct as I'm driving to teach along an empty part of the highway? In my favor was daylight and no rain, but the noise WAKTHUNKWAKTHUNKWAKTHUNK is still not particularly pleasant. To add insult to no-personal-injury, the brand/type of tires I have are no longer made. So I need to get slightly different ones and that's just annoying. At least I got to class on time.
As a side note, I think our cars should have alarms that say things like, "Danger, Danger (insert your name here, bonus points if it's Will Robinson), your (insert car part here) is about to cost you money!
Edit: Just as I hit submit, my cat knocked over a glass vase and shattered it all over the office. And the dust buster has no juice. Grrrrr.
