recent happenings
ok, so my title sucks...but i couldnt thing of another one...and im sick, so give me a break. i think i have the 24 hour gap flu of the month. everything hurts. i thought i was going to die at my desk today. im like i dont feel good...and kelly was like, kim...hello? hello? im like i dont feel well....and she didnt either, but i felt fine this morning......and all that managed to change in the matter of a few minutes. one minute, im sending out an email, the next....head on desk trying not to puke. good times. so i left early....but not before my time card had been approved....i asked if it could be changed, and i got the why are you worrying about this? well deal with it next week. and the picture frame came back....woohoo picture frame that wont die...and the sad thing, i love every minute of it and the fun im having doing it and all the stuff ive learned.
im watching martha stewart right now....shes rewarding the winning team with a game of scrabble....now thats totally what i would want. all the way....although, scrabble is fun when we get together for the holidays....
man my head hurts....i hate being sick. and our team lunch is tomorrow....i want to be able to eat....grrrrrr.....hopefully ill be fine tomorrow....it was just kind of scary...so nauseaus....and my heart was racing......and i guess i got really pale. oh well....i feel better now. not great, but better. but i missed my run. guess im going thurs and fri....and i HAVE to go. i cant fall off the training plan this early.
i talked to kym monday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can i just say how glad i am to have her back in my life. we talked forever...caught up and what not. afterword, i had a text saying that it was great talking, but it would have been better over ice cream.....oh ice cream.....shrek sundays and walking home from central square.....cold stone and hitch and people next to us having sex in the theater......ahhh memories. it was great, that even after these few months, its like nothing has changed between us.....i love that its one of those relationships where we can talk after not talking for forever, and pick up where we left off.
lets see...what else....i went to the haight this weekend....met up with a few girls i met at my rmp interview in february. it was fun, as fun as shopping can be when you dont have any money. however, it did make me miss my friends. i mean, ive made a few here, but i miss what i had...granted that will take time to get, and i know that....its just not so fun.
last night i hit up club monaco with veronica and nicole. veronica got an invitation to a special holiday party there...it was really cool. i got to sip champagne while i walked around like someone important.....i love my job and the cool things ive gotten to do through it. i also got the bargain of the century there. i fount the cutest cropped jacket, and it was like 160....and im like not even going to put it on. then i picked it up to show the girls and saw that it was on sale for 99....so i put it on...and HAD to have it. HAD TO....i was like i cant believe im going to spend 100 dollars on this coat....i have no money...(damn car..eats all my money....j/k i love my car too). so i went up to the register. and the lady was like oh..its 75...so we were like woohoo....and then shes like wait...i think its less.....so she checks it again...and it was 39!!!!!!!!!! thats like more than 50% off....thats like almost free....and louis boston was there. i dont know too much about him, but according to veronica, hes some fashion icon...she asked him about our business....and he took a few minutes to talk to us....really cool....he signed veronicas book too...
ok...i think thats it....brian and i are going to the nutcracker this weekend. that should be fun...i think back to when i was little and used to dance in the show....itll be fun to dress up too.....weve been talking about how we want a reason to get all dressed up since we got here. :)
and thats all she wrote...for right now....and the H key on my computer is failing....wonderful....and my head hurts...bed time....work early....woohoo...but tomorrow will be thursday and er is on.
