is it friday yet?
almost.....not soon enough....but almost.
this week has been really long.....and really short at the same time. weird...i dont know how to explain it. go figure. i had dinner with a friend on tuesday....its cool to finally have a few friends out here. we discussed our jobs. she got the job i orignally wanted. she asked me if i was happier where i was now than if i had gotten in to the program. honestly, i dont know. i absolutely love my job. granted, i dont have anything to compare it to. i didnt get to try the job she has. 6 months ago, it was all i wanted. now i wouldnt change things for the world.
so today i had to take samples from the san francisco office home with me to take to san bruno in the morning. which wouldnt have been half bad if i had a bag to put them in. unfortunately, bags are hard to come by in a corporate office. especially one big enough for an entire stack of samples. so walking out to the shuttle, looking like i robbed the local gap on my way for the second time. anywhere else in the city, this would have solicited strange looks, however, because i was walking between gap buildings, it was completely normal. until i got on the shuttle, that was mind you, full of gap employees...and they all looked at me like i had just pile grabbed some poor store. hello....you idiots work for the company....and i kept getting strange looks cause i took up two seats. there were plenty. you dont need to sit next to me...i really dont want you to sit next to me...god forbid you have to walk another row back.....so we get to san bruno, and i go to get off....the driver is all like, "ill take two.." really buddy...not in the mood....like at all. but whatever. so i try to walk in the building...and this really nice lady not only doesnt hold the door open for me, but pulls it shut behind her....who does that?!?! thank god for the person behind me who grabbed it and held it so i could get through. ahhh....vp meeting all day tomorrow....hopefully that will be cool.....
