so its been awhile since ive posted...well, not really, but for me.....im just so tired all the time from the long work day and the work week....its not that bad...but i get up at 630....6 if im going to run...and dont get back home til like 7....im still loving the job, which is good. imagine that, me actually wanting to go to work. im stil learning, so its really interesting. i love the people i work with too. theyre hilarious.....
there is however that small matter...I DIDNT GET PAID...try that on for size...i will totally be living in my car...until the bank repossesses it, then i will move into the office. did i not call that one? i think its in my entry from a few days ago.....grrrr...so i had to call hr...and the lady actually called me back right away...and told me shed work on it...then some other lady called me at the end of the day with the phone number and email of someone in payroll....now...it was end of day for me....and shes in new mexico...so shes done for the day....thanks...thanks a bunch...i dont need to get paid or anything......kelly asked me why i was calling hr..."youve only had your job for like a week..." my answer...yes, and i love it...but id really appreciate it if theyd pay me to do my job...oh the gap..if craziness didnt ensue....i think the place might implode....
on the upside i spent friday doing absolutely nothing...i didnt think it was possible to get paid for 8 hours of nothing, but it totally is. and im not exagerating...i really had no usable output of work....i spent my morning emailing everyone back in boston,cause everyone in my office was gone. then i took a walk...and then i talked to some people...then i took another walk....yeah..that about sums up my day. and i looked around the office...no one was there....no one.....
i am so enjoying the weekend.....went blading today....ok, that was not so much fun.....i almost died...multiple times....grandma in her corolla was headed right for me....didnt move...headed directly for me....who does that? i think im going to stick to running from now on....
tried to go to cha cha cha tonite with brian....almost got killed...well, not really....but mission st. is pretty damn skecthy...some guy was banging on the window of our car....im like wtf?!!? we need to get out of here....so we ended up at fridays in san bruno....
ok....im really tired.....sorry this isnt as fun as the usual entries....if anyone is still reading this.....kate come back......
