Sole survivor cursed with second sight
Finally, the last lab-day. Got everything cleaned today and got rid of my keys.
Bad thing is nearly no experiment worked well and it will be quite a tough job writing all the failures down. Wasn't my fault they handed my dirty chemicals and that every single one of the few products was not stable but it is also not as though anyone cares in the end.
Damn, writing 30 pages about that stuff makes me fell sick. How ever. At least now i have three weeks to deal with it. So i'm busy procrastinating it. This led to watching the whole season two of "Dark Angel" and to watching parts of season one (which i have already seen ages ago and which i really enjoyed then). Fact is that season one is ages better than season two. I mean come on who needs a Chewbacca fake? Who needs an evil breeding cult? And damn James Cameron for not giving a proper ending to his series!
Season one was mainly about Max, a "transgenic" woman who escaped the institute named Menticore which made her and wanted to turn her into a super-soldier. With her, 12(?) other children escaped and with the help of "eyes-only"-Logan, who is an underground journalist, she tries to find them. It is neat watching the relationship between Max and Logan develop. They are so cute together.
In the second season Max brought down this evil institute and now there are "transgenics" all over the US (problem 1).
Then there is a really evil breeding cult (problem 2).
Plus Menticore injects Max an evil artificial virus and now Logan will die if she touches him, what kind of screws their relationship up (problem 3).
Oh and the "normal" people hate the "transgenics" (problem 4).
Last but not least strange signs appear on Max's skin (problem 5).
To make a long story short: problem 2, 3, 4, 5..well, no problem is solved by the end of the series. It truly looks like they planed season three but there never was a third season.
It is one of the times you actually feel that the writers lost interest in their story. It’s sad, i kind of enjoyed watching it.
Still there are two nearly positive facts: Double eye candy:
1. Michael Weatherly, who would have been pretty if he wouldn’t look so damn toasted.
2. Jensen, who would have been pretty if he wouldn’t look like a boy band boy.
