1. I don't deal all that fabulously with change, and I think I was probably depressed for most of 9th grade.
2. I've never cried during a movie (okay, I almost cried at the end of Stand By Me), but I can get sentimentally attached to almost anything.
3. I used to be an enormous pyromaniac (I still am, but to a lesser extent). When I was home alone I'd sit on the back porch, spray paper towels with antifreeze, and light them on fire.
4. Sometimes I wish I never moved. I wonder what it'd be like if I lived in the same house in New York for my entire life. I've always thought it would be pretty cool, and I really wish I were old enough to remember it better.
5. I remember when I first learned how to read. I was 3 1/2 years old. The first thing I ever read was a coloring book about dinosaurs, and I was sitting on the floor at my uncle's house.
6. I'm a constant worryer, and as far as college goes, I go through times of almost being excited about it to being absolutely petrified of it. Then I worry that I'm killing brain cells, because I read in Consumer Reports that stress ruins your memory.
7. Speaking of which, I can remember a lot of weird things, like people's lisence plates, or what shirt I was wearing on a particular day. When I was 7 years old a hubcap fell off my mother's car and I had to pick out which one it was when she went to get a new one.
8. I love pancakes but I'm not really a fan of waffles. That's not really weird. I'm kind of running out of weird things.
9. I wish I could sing, but I have a terrible voice. I sing all the time when no one's home. I also genuinely wish I could dance really, um, coolly like Napoleon Dynamite or something, but I can't do that either.
10. When I can't figure out what I'm feeling, I pretend I'm a shrink and carry out a dialogue in my head between the real me and the made-up psychiatrist me.
