The First Day of Being the Big 2-0

I love Christmas Day. It's always so uplifting to have X-mas as the first full day of the next year of your life. I've been having a wonderful time this Holiday season, and I've been living it up down here in Arizona with Nathan's family. I've already mentioned how much I love it. As if this Christmas wouldn't already be chuck full of memories that will forever stay in my heart, Nathan had to up the ante.
And boy did he.

He proposed. And he was just about as nervous as I've ever seen him. I now have a gorgeous heirloom engagement ring.

Because, of course, I said yes. ^__^ Can any Christmas gift ever compete with that? The man of my dreams, who I want to spend the rest of my life with asked me to do just that, and sealed it with a ring. I couldn't be more thrilled. This truly rates as the best Christmas ever for me, and as such, bodes very well for the rest of the year. XD

As for the rest of the loot I got, I feel sooo spoiled here. I got (for my birthday) a delicious chocolate cake, a sudoku game and a wallet just like I wanted from Nathan, I got a basket full of bath goodies from Aunt Mary, I got a really nice spaghetti pot from Grandma Betty, and from Tracy (Nathan's mom) I got a gold heart necklace. Spoiled, no?

For Christmas today I received a stocking full of more goodies, a watch from Tracy and Grandma Betty, diamond earrings from Grandma Betty, and, well... ^___^

From my family, we all got that awesome new computer at home, three wonderful books, one of which I'm halfway through, black socks (cause I needed them horribly), and eight little red tumbler glasses to complete my dishes set. XD Oh, and when I was at the horrible Wal-Mart the other day I found red plastic cups that will work great. So in all, my wedding chests are going to gain a lot of goodies. My dowry's growing! (Good, cause it's official now!)

I got Nathan some nice new clothes for him. I don't feel like I got enough for him, but I wasn't exactly expecting to get such a big gift. I still have a little more money. ^_^ Still have to get something for my mom's b-day, though. But I found something for Tiff!

Truly, life does not get more sweet than this. And I get to look forward to turkey with stuffing like you wouldn't believe! Oh, that stuff's good. XD And pie. Me like pie.

So Merry Christmas, everyone! Live it up! Life's beautiful. Spread the love and joy.
