Thankies <3 I think would be remiss if writing a fic with LoTR and FoTC I forgot Figwit ;) And Jemaine is proven right beyond all possible reproach on the wig issue now.

I was trying to think of a ridiculous insult and aardvark was the first thing that popped into my little brain (possibly I was thinking about Demetri Martin's schtic about anteaters subconsciously). And once I'd thought "aardvark" nothing else would do ;)

I think it is fitting that I am reading this and not feeling well myself. Oh, it's not wonderful to be feeling under the weather or anything mind you, but it just seems to fit! :)

How could Jemaine NOT be attracted to Figwit? And he DOES look like a lady elf...actually, I thought ALL the elves in LOTR looked like ladies - again, I'd like to state for the record that Tolkien was a genius. Pure & simple.

The whole Sarah Fielding part felt as if it was lifted from the show - it was that in character for me. Actually, I think I'll be disappointed if they don't watch some movie next season - whether it be LOTR or Top Gun or something...

I'm glad people liked Sarah Fielding. I wasn't sure if I was a writing genius or a slavering idiot with a computer when I wrote that bit. Aardvark *snigger*

There is much gender confusion in LoTR canon alright ;) Elves actually decide both their gender and to get pregnant (regardless of gender as far as I can make out) and the whole bearded lady dwarves had been more or less adopted into the fantasy canon by now ;)

this is so freakn cute. Like something to curl up in a robe on a rainy day while sipping Apple Cider or something. It would've been cool, but then again maybe to obvious, if you had quoted Figwit's lines in the fic. yeah <3

I'm glad you liked it <3 I think it's the third film that Figwit has lines in though (they brought him back 'cos he was so popular in the first one as a silent role) other wise it woud have been quotezilla :)

Erm sort of. Not as direct a parallel as Frodo and Sam grant you. But Legolas/Gimli is my Lotr OTP and I wouldn't have been able to live with myself if I left them out of the subtext. Ooh and Bret and Jemaine also dressed up as them for the rock section of the video *clings to flimsy pretext*
