It's that time of year again...thank goodness.
First, we'll start with Granma Mitchell - my own little throw away from that has morphed into something more. Although, I have to say I am a bit surprised that I only wrote two stories with her in it and the last was in March. That is currently be rectified.
Through the Peaks and Twisty Canons, I've Made Many Great Companies It is a bit more of my super secret "pairing" - Granma Mitchell and Teal'c. With Cam and Sam tagging along and a few more of the Mitchell Family.

Other fandom stuff
I and the ever amazing
pellucid started and moderated the rather successful
galpalficathon that focused on the wonderful world of female friendship. It was multi-fandom and um...one day I will finish my own fic for it. I iz a bad, bad moderator.
I also started up
book_buzz which is a book review community. I hope to keep it actively reviewing books of all genres, if only for my own personal glee of adding to my reading list.
Navel Gazing
My favorite story this year (of my own):
Apocalpyse Lullaby This was the darkest fic I've written and I think the saddest, and thus so very different from the humor I tend to write.
My best story this year:
They're waiting all the same, With their flashlights and their semaphores I love this one as well. I liked how it unfolded and how it fits with Choo Choo Train.
Story most under-appreciated by the universe, in my opinion:
Apocalpyse Lullaby Probably because it's my favorite, but I don't think many people read it. Which is, of course, fine - but this was one I really excited to share with people. Good lord that sounds all emo.
Most fun story: Since I tend to focus more on humor, it's a tad harder to choose this one. For sheer ridiculousness, I'd say
Twinkle Twinkle Little Bat.
Sexiest story:
I may be blind, but I'm not deluded - Well, it's a threesome. Not right out porn, but I do love the build-up.
Hardest story to write: The one I am working on now. How's that for a teaser?
Easiest story to write:
Apocalpyse Lullaby - I wrote in three hours and the betas only beat with the beta-bat for a bit. I think it's one of the few I've written that came from a place deep inside me.
As for what was surprising, I think I am always surprised when I come up with something and as for my goals for 2009, I am actually approaching this year with none. Beyond the whole "seize the glee" mantra.
