*spoilers for Smallville season finale and Angel series finale*

ok last warning. do not read this if you are fans of either show and missed tonights episodes.
you know. i rarely watch tv. when we had cable here i was an adult swim junkie. but cable has been gone for awhile now. so if i happen to be down in ct on wednesdays and sundays, then i watch smallville , angel and charmed. why? i just don't know. i find them to be cool and engaging. and in the case of charmed, charmingly campy. ha ha.

smallville.
lex:
is lex and clark's friendship finally kaput? will next season show lex's descent into evil and being superman's arch-nemesis? and what was up with lex at the end being poisoned?

lionel:
is papa luthor gonna be heading for the electric chair? cud that be what the buzz cut at the end mean? or is taking a cue from his son? and what about this degenerative liver disease?

lana:
she's gone to paris. clark once again failed to tell her the truth. but u know what? who cares? if you know anything about the comics then you know lana and clark just won't happen. but then again, the show isn't handcuffed to the original story and time line. either way, it's still so interesting seeming them struggle with their feelings.

pete:
i guess he's gone. he left in the last episode to be with his mom becuz after getting beat up by a fed he realized knowing clark's secret was just too damn much. finally! god why didn't they drop pete a long time ago? don't get me wrong i liked pete but he hasn' t been useful or even really seen for such a long time. and this is clark's best friend? then second to last show he's back and his parents are divorcing, he's facing a choice and ta da, pete has a story line. for one show. since like last season.

chloe:
dead? gotta be. we see her walk into her fibbie protected house , the door shuts, then the door is blown away by a fireball along with the rest of the house. it wouldn't surprise me if she wasn't dead. they'd probably show her ducking under a table at the last second. even tho the house blew as soon as the door was shut. i'm sorry, but only clark would have the kind of reaction time. so chloe is dead? well, i liked her somewhat. but she was starting to become useless. without her little love jones for clark to tangle up lana and clark's relationship, having only so many "wall of weird" cases to add...what else was she gonna do? i never felt she added much to the show. mostly she would show up and bug the shit out of people and use their personal lives as a story no matter who it is. you know, i hope she's dead. heh.

jonathan:
well we find out that the deal he made with clark's biological father, jorel a while back , (i know that's spelled wrong) to have the power to bring clark back to smallville. the deal? in exchange, jorel could have clark back someday. looks like he's ready to collect. but don't worry about ol' jon you know he'll be ok.

clark:
dunno. jorel trapped him in some krptonian easy bake oven, baking at 350 for a summer hiatus. check for flying abilities, super breath/cold breath and added strength to see if done. start new season. serves a few million.

angel.
well. it's over. i really don't know what to say. its just too soon. i knew it would be wesley that dies. i knew it. told you didn't i jenny? the ending is your ultimate cliff hanger. 4 against 4 million. but come on...do you think they really won? or even made a dent? then what was the point?? i know angel made some speech to justify it last episode but really. what did you really accomplish? so some of the most powerfully allied demons are dead? someone will take their place. now all those poor innocents out there have no more champion to come to their rescue. just think what could have been if they had a few more season to flesh out the prophecy.

you know what would have really made the ending better? well for one, lorne growing a pair and standing beside his friends. but no he pusses out! god don't tell me there's a spin off in the works. fuck lorne! anyways. just imagine this:
so the last four are there . they see the demons coming. then a voice says, "looks like you could use a hand" camera pans over and we see buffy and her legions. we see all the characters from buffy that were still alive by end of series. i mean every one of them. at least the ones that would make good fighters. i'm not too knowledgable with buffy so i'm not sure of who everyone would be, who's still living and who's dead. but hell even if they're dead , why not just have this big flash of light from the heavens and there's doyle and cordelia? and anyone else. the whole fucking crew. then they go and attack the demon hordes. now that woould have been an ending. of course it would have never happened. but hey, a fanboy can dream.
