my stepdad left for the states. only three more months before the rest of my family joins him.
for some random reason the guards would not let us see him off at the terminal, so erika, nadezhda, and i watched him take off from the fence beside the runway. we were almost blown away, but the noise was the actual damaging component. then we saw hootie and the blowfish get off their jet and into a long blue van, so we ran to our cars and followed them all the way around the base (i think they were trying to lose us-by the time they reached their destination, their speed was commendable...)
we watched a presentation on drunk driving at school today. it prevented me from studying for government. i blame the school for my grades! :)
i got some awesome clothes from the thrift shop! (they were having a .50 cent sale on all donation clothing. i got a neon yellow cheerleading skirt (the possibilities!), a bright red pleated skirt, a purple vinyl mini skirt, a sequined and tassled black and white glitter top, a harry potter children's tee, a cherry red zippered sweater, and a calf length suede/mystery faux fur coat with magenta threading and shiny buttons. three pairs of shoes too (all japanese brands, it seems)-sparkly white, black with golden pointed toes, and brown cyber ankle boots.
