To recap thus far: I and three other teachers are forced to attend a mandatory, unpaid Sunday School event taking place on Friday night (my only night off). We are required to plan games and songs for the event, even though the Belinskys clearly didn't feel required to pay us on time. Oh well. At least you didn't give way to the urge to do violence, which though satisfying and merited would have resulted in some unpleasant legal consequences.

That's all I said then, for reasons I outlined in a comment below. But don't forget they had the whole outline of complaints in front of them and I didn't exactly sugar coat that.

Oh, the temptation to give them a verbal beating that would knock them into next week was strong. I'm talking, fat person alone on an island full of fruit and one donut kind of strong. And I could do it too. I may be easy going and laid back in general, but I've got a way with words and a nasty temper when pushed too far. These people left "too far" back a couple hundred miles ago ( ... )

heh..wait, they kicked you in the balls? damn!

anyway, i, um, manually quit a job once (ya know, as opposed to the nice way). my first job, actually, at the AMC 20 theater. matter of fact, i even wrote a journal entry about it, although it's long and lost to the archives. plus, it's not very good, so i'm only gonna mention it..

but it involves a lot of uptight people and working with kids (kids being those that were like 16, seeing as how i was almost 18 and all..) but at least i did it as i planned!

yep, after an hour-long discussion with "management" on why, after two years of always being a dependable worker (i was an usher supervisor, after all!) i should possibly be fired for, while on break, *filling up my soda cup from the wrong side of the counter* -- yes, you heard me) i decided enough was enough and, as they told me they were walking away because i was getting too loud, i launched into a lot of cursing and yelling and inappropriate gestures (yeah, more like, "fuck you! i fuckin quit! you run this place like fuckin ( ... )
