It was a toss up between this and Pinhead. Why do I always get the tie-breaker questions? Mayhaps I have some odd form of multiple personalities.
So...things? Let's see:
I've had a few visitors lately which is much with the awesome. It's cool to have people come to see me cause I miss my friends muchly. This past weekend my friend Chris came in from Florida. We did all the touristy things, which as cool since I haven't had a chance to just go out and see the lovely city I now reside in. Standing around while he too pictures was a little boring, but the steamboat ride and cemetary visit made up for it. I have a new obsession with crawfish. I can eat the shit out of some crawfish. I really do need to find some people to hang with here though, cause life's kinda boring when I'm not importing friends.
Universal called me a little while ago. Just to see if I'd be interested in coming back this year, nothing definate yet. Still damn cool though, and since Chris has been there for like 10 years he said he's gonna do his best to make sure I get the gig and get me in his area this year. I also got a call from one of the other guys who worked HHN with me last year. He was making a latex scar and it wasn't turning out right, so he called me for advise. How fucking cool is that?! Not only was I being asked for makeup advise, but it was from another established artist. He said "I remembered that you're the latex queen so I thought I'd ask you."
Saw X3 this weekend. Horribly disappointed. My geekdom was reinforced, and I cried for all the wrong reasons. We'll leave it at that.
Oh, and I got more ink (not sure if I mentioned that already). It's the Japanese symbol for chaos, in red, at the nape of my neck. Just trying to keep you all informed. :)
Oh, and hurricane season starts today. Whee!
