So I don't really know why I don't update this thing from home. I guess I don't do it b/c I don't want someone in my house walking up on me writing in it and then asking what I am doing, what it is, what I write about, can the read, etc... It's not like I don't want to share. I guess I am a little more open on this thing with friends who know me less than the ones I live with. But I feel like that reading someone's journal and sharing with another journal holder there is a "code of conduct". I guess I feel that someone that has a journal and I share with won't use my words and thoughts against me. It's almost like an unspoken brotherhood between us journal users. Does that sound completely gay?

Well, the reason I have this thought turning in my head is b/c I have so much to update and it seems like a daunting task to even type it out. And if I would have just updated it from home I wouldn't even have this problem. Call me lazy.

Wednesday night, the roomies, well Chad, Katrina, Joseph, and I, finished cleaning up the house and setting up for Thanksgiving. It really felt, sounded, and smelt like a festive warm house. Katrina was cooking cranberries and they filled up the whole house. It was nice to feel like a family. Everyone was on the same page, and you could really tell we were "thankful" for the evening...

Thursday was a crazy day. It seemed that everyone's family showed up within 20 minutes of each other. So we went from a household of 4 to 23 in no time! We had a beautiful day. Food was great! Not one single snag the whole afternoon. Cowboys won, and in a house full of Cowboys fans that is great thing. I was of course really happy to see everyone, especially my family, but it was amazing to see joseph's tata in our house. Here is a man that we thought was going to die a few months back. He was so happy to be around everyone he loves.

As quickly as everyone showed up it seemed the disappeared as quickly. The alcohol continued to flow freely and we had more visitors as the evening went on. My friend Kristen (ok from this point on I will stop referring to her as, "my friend", I think you guys have established that she is my friend) and her mother, and her friend Ken came over to say hello. She looked glowing when she walked in, she had a big scarf on, with a flowing purple skirt... Katrina's friend Janette came over with her hubby and Dana Davis. Dana provided the laugh of the night as far as I am concerned. In the process of commenting on my looks she said that I looked like a, "greek statue". I about threw up my turkey laughing about this. I come to find out later that she thought I was ben rada, and I would have been amazed if I went from looking like ben rada to me... (well I leave that at that).

Kristen and her mother left after hanging for a couple of hours. When we went out to the car we said our goodbyes and Kristen and I tried to sneak a little kiss in. It was actually funny and ended up being a huge blunder and just ended with us cracking up. Scott showed up shortly after all of this. We had a second round of thanksgiving dinner and then him and I went downtown.

Downtown was dead and half the bars were closed. We went to Cheers where Scott knows everyone. Scott got a bunch of Aggie corps guys kicked out for throwing shit at us. Lauren came down and met us. I was glad that we had a chance to hang out and actually talk. I had a lot of fun with her. I spent most of the night talking to this one chick who had a really sweaty back and sweaty dark armpit stains on her shirt. Doesn't she sound hot!? We went back to the blair and proceed to drink the beer Towle and I bought for our tailgating party the next day. I threw up at some point in the evening and ben's dog ate my puke. At that point I decided it would be a good time to pass out. I did and woke up with Cousin Ryan sleeping next to me. Nothing is scarier than waking up next to someone you don't know, and even scarier when you realize it is a dude!

Scott and I skipped out on the whole tailgating fun and went and ate dirty mexican food. We went back to the blair and watched the Aggie game and that is all I will say about that... Friday was a lazy day of movies and pizza with the roomies and scott. Saturday I laid around the house some more. I went to dinner with Kristen, her mom, and their friend Ken. We ate at Thai Passion. It was a fun evening but I started getting sick that night. I can thank chad for that. I went back to drop Kristen and her crew off at Ken's apt. I said my goodbyes and left. Kristen snuck out to my car and gave me a tiny innocent goodbye kiss...

Sunday, I was full blown sick. I laid on the couch all day. It really felt like I had a 3 day hang over from Thanksgiving. I finally motivated to get out of the house around 5pm. I loaded up the chairs I borrowed from my office and brought them back here. I then picked up Kristen and we went to visit the chad at chili's. He was having a bad day so we just went to hang with him. Kristen and I had a great conversation over, a beer, margarita, and some southwestern egg rolls. She really makes me smile...
